Hello dear friends, glad to see you again! Today I'm going to show you how to properly wear medical compression stockings.

4. How to Wear Medical Stockings Correctly
Proper application is crucial for both comfort and effectiveness.
-
When to Wear: It's best to put them on in the morning upon waking, before your legs have a chance to swell.
-
Position: For easier application and optimal blood flow, put them on while lying down.
-
Step-by-Step Application:
-
Start by turning the stocking inside out up to the heel.
-
Carefully place your toes and foot into the foot of the stocking.
-
Ensure the heel is perfectly aligned.
-
Gently and slowly pull the stocking up over your calf, smoothing it out as you go.
-
-
What to Avoid: Do not grab the top and "yank" the stocking up, as this can damage the elastic fibers and disrupt the pressure gradient.
-
When to Remove: Medical stockings should be taken off before going to sleep.
